Make a Rollie Toy (For Women and Non-binary Makers) May 19th 10:00 am -1 2:00pm
Make a handmade toy for your little one or a little one in your life! Design your own, or use one of the patterns available. This class will teach a few basic woodworking skills, and you will leave with a finished toy. You will be using a bandsaw, drill press, belt sander, laminate router (optional), hammer, and sandpaper. This is a great intro class for beginners.
$45 (includes material fee)
Taught by Kate Schiffler
Kate Schiffler has been a woodworker for over 14 years. She owns and runs Northern Hardwood Frames; a framing company that specializes in framing for stained glass windows. Her other company is Oak Tree Arts where she makes a variety of wood items for kids and adults. Kate has a major in Art/Archaeology from the University of Minnesota. In her spare time she enjoys traveling, the outdoors, all kinds of art and music, and playing with her kiddo as much as possible.
